Privacy Policy — Teleo

• Scripts you create or import are stored locally in the app's storage.
• Recorded videos are written locally and saved to your Photos library only when you record. Teleo requests add-only access to Photos — it cannot read your existing photos.
• Speech recognition (VoiceTrack) uses Apple's Speech framework to scroll the script as you read. Recognition runs entirely on your device (requiresOnDeviceRecognition); audio and transcripts never leave your device and are not stored or transmitted to us or any third party. No third-party AI service is used.
• Camera and microphone are used only while you are recording, to capture your video and audio. Teleo does not access them in the background.

Teleo offers optional in-app purchases: a one-time purchase (Teleo Premium / Lifetime) and an auto-renewable subscription (Teleo Pro). These unlock additional features such as higher recording quality, video format options, and removing the video watermark. All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store, and auto-renewable subscriptions renew through your Apple Account until canceled. Teleo never sees your payment details. Your entitlement is managed by Apple (StoreKit); Teleo only checks whether a purchase or subscription is active.

Teleo uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the app is used and to detect and fix crashes. This helps us improve Teleo. Through Firebase we may collect:

• Usage data — anonymous, aggregated events such as opening the prompter, starting a recording, viewing the upgrade screen, or completing a purchase. We do not log the content of your scripts or videos.
• Device and diagnostic data — device model, OS version, app version, coarse region, a per-install identifier (Firebase installation ID / device vendor identifier), and crash logs/diagnostics.

This data is processed by Google as our analytics provider. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA), do not show ads, and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is required. You can limit analytics by disabling it in iOS Settings where applicable; the app remains fully functional.

Teleo is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information that identifies children. Analytics and crash data are anonymous and aggregated, and are used only to operate and improve the app.

You can change camera, microphone, speech recognition, and Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Teleo. Disabling a permission may limit recording or VoiceTrack.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new “Last updated” date.
